Hello everybody, this will be a tutorial about how to obtain Dragon Fragments and some useful tips.
1) First you need the quest name Legendary Tales.
a) To take the quest, you need to teleport to Dragon Valley.
b) To teleport to Dragon valley you have to have Mystra's spellbook(activate it by right-clicking it) and teleport from any town.
c) Second way to teleport ( and cheaper cause mystra's spellbook cost) is to teleport from second gatekeeper( next to Mystra) at Giran Town, to Dragon Valley.
d)When you teleport to Dragon Valley /target Gilmore and take the Legendary Tales quest.
2) Teleport to Dragon valley center.
a) Teleporting to Dragon valley can be done by Mystra gatekeeper --> Giran --> Nobless teleport --> Dragon Valley Center), if your char is nobless.
b) If your char is not nobless, NO PROBLEM, you can teleport again from the second gatekeeper at Giran (next to mystra) to Antharas Lair, you are 2 minutes away from the nobless teleport spawn.
b1) Outside Antharas Lair, before you start walking, road splits to left and right. You follow the left path, and as you walk you will see on your right, the Dragon Vortex , the place where dragons spawn.
3)OK , now you need 7 large dragon skulls
a) Dragon skull can be obtain if YOUR PARTY and only YOUR PARTY makes the last hit on dragon boss. If your party makes no damage has no difference , you just need the last hit!!! Even if you have a channel party, and your channel party makes the last hit on the boss, you will not get it.
b)To summon a Dragon, you need speak to Dragon Vortex and have 1 large dragon bone in your bag( large dragon bones can be farmed at Hunting grounds --> Hellbound Citadel, !remember! low drop rate). NOTE you don't have to be in the party that summons the dragon, your party only need to LAST HIT!!!
c) You cannot choose which dragon you spawn, its a random dragon spawn.
d) 7 DRAGONS, Emerald Horn (biggest spawn rate), Dust Rider, Bleeding Fly, Black Dagger Wing, Shadow Summoner, Spike Slasher, Muscle Bomber(lowest spawn rate).
If you have ,for example, 3 Large Dragon skulls and you cant remember which 3 Dragons your party killed, You can always go to Dragon Valley (step 1 ) and talk with NPC Gilmore, he will inform you which dragon skulls of 7 you have.
4) After you successfully obtain all 7 skulls, you can go to Gilmore and take whichever Dragon Fragment you like.
NOTE you can take the Legendary Quest only once per champion.
TIP if you dont want to keep your Dragon Fragment and wanna sell it, don 't rush and take your dragon fragment. Shout at giran(!blahblahblah) and say that you want to sell a dragon fragment, than after you agree with the price, you go and take the dragon fragment that buyer wants.
last TIP. When a notification about DVC pops up in your screen , means that a dragon spawned and the best you can do is to go teleport fast there and ask for PARTY. DONT WASTE TIME on searching for people in giran to make a party!
