I/ Introduction:
There are 3 dagger classes: Ghost Hunter (Dark Elf); Adventurer (Human) ; Wind Rider (Elf). Each of them have their own benefits. Below is their racial stats.
This guide is mostly for pvp private servers, where it is easy to get good gear. Besides, it aims mainly for soloing dagger.
II/ Dyes:
You may hear widely from internet that Daggers need DEX and CON the most for pvp. STR is less important. However, they did not mention why... I'll show you why STR is less important to dagger. Firstly, take a look at the benefit of different stats:
The damage of dagger skills is calculated in a formula like the following:
The multiplier is the product of different multipliers from buff and boss jewels and other exterior stuffs.
The x2 is from crit damage. Because dagger skills are counted as an critical hit. Its landrate depends on your critical rate and your DEX.
From the formula, you can see that dagger skill damage DOES DEPEND on P Atk, thus STR. However, the difference of Patk of dagger from dye is very tiny compared to P Atk of skill. So the benefit from STR dye is not good as from other dyes.
I recommend you dyes: DEX+4 STR-4; CON+4 STR-4; DEX+1 STR-1.
When you play in party mostly, you can consider to kamikaze build, 5 STR, 4 DEX and -9 CON. Dagger elf can consider also 4WIT to benefit Elemental heal.
III/ Buffs:
Keep in mind that Berserker Spirit lowers your evasion, p.def, m.def etc. so dont take that buff, neither Dance of berserker, that causes the same effect. Put Chant of Victory on, that maximises your HP, Greater Shield, or Earth Chant, for skills like Hex, Trick, Switch, etc.. you will need high casting speed so put Acumen and Dance of Concentration also on (if you have slots, ofc).

So now, which dagger to equip? Dual daggers or a single crit. damage one?
As you may know, Mamba edge Crit damage deals more critical backstab than dual daggers. However, I suggest having dual daggers because of Dual Blow (it has uber power and insane lethal rate) and if you make it PvP, it cancels buffs much faster.
I would recommend you buying Vorpal light set. Why? Because, when enchanted to 10, Vorpal has more p.def than Elegia. It is for soloing. In party, because in our server, Elegia light is bugged(It gives actually 171 crit rate - 10 times of that one in a normal server). So go for it.
VI/ Skills:
Enchant your Backstab, Lethal Blow and Deadly Blow on duel. I would recommend you to enchant Light Armor Mastery to Evasion.
On Wind Rider, overenchant Elemental Heal to 30 and with prayer buff on, you can heal more than 2300 HP quickly. Enchant Sprint on Dodge. It increases your evasion greatly.
Enchanting Bleed to “sap” is very useful in pvp. When its enchanted to 30, it drains about 800 hp when you use the skill.
For Ghost Hunter, or Wind Rider, you should always use Focus Death. On Adventurer, use Focus Power. Focus Death increases Back-way damage by 90% and deadly attack probability by 60%. However Decreases Critical rate and frontal Critical Damage by 30%. In a pvp battle, dont forget to switch on Vicious Stance. It increases Critical damage. Also don’t even think about pvp without Mortal Strike on WR and GH. Versus tanks it is very useful to do Switch/Trick, that cansels their target, quickly run to the back of the enemy and backstab! Adventurer has a skill Mirage, that occasionally cancels enemys target. It is also very useful during pvp.
To increase speed, Adventurer has Dash. Unfortunately WR/GH have Blinding Blow. When you need to chase, you can stab a mob and you have +40 Running speed for 15 seconds. Sometimes doing trick/switch Stops an enemy, when running. When you have a Ghost Hunter, dont forget to Debuff an enemy with Hex. It decreases enemys’ P.def greatly. And when you also do Critical wound that increases your critical damage by 30% and succeeds, the damage is insane!
High evasion can save you from strong fighters. So don’t forget to use Ultimate Evasion and during pvp, do Sand bomb. It decreases the accuracy of an enemy.
Hide can often save your life. If you are playing vs another dagger, do skill Bleed to them. If it succeeds, and enemy dagger does Hide, he will not be hidden, because Bleed does damage occasionally, and damage cansels Hide.
